Tridecane
Hydrocarbon with 13 carbons. Used as a light volatile emollient, often paired with Undecane in the Cetiol Ultimate system. Gives a 'dry' spread and evaporates after application. An alternative to cyclic silicones. Main use – sunscreens and lightweight serums.
