Azithromycin × Estradiol

Azithromycin has minimal effect on CYP3A4 and does not affect hepatic oestradiol metabolism. No clinically significant reduction in menopausal hormone therapy efficacy has been reported.

The combination usually causes no specific symptoms. Each drug's individual side effects remain.

No dose adjustment needed. In women on menopausal hormone therapy, azithromycin remains an antibiotic of choice for respiratory infections.
